A little about what a moderator is...

With the Big Prayer Chain as big as it is on some non-Christian social websites, and the amount of traffic received from them, it's obvious that the prayer chain could become a target for spammers or other malicious users who would try to use the prayer chain to promote their business, or worse. A very large unknown number of people have added the prayer chain to their profiles, who added it with the intent that only good and wholesome messages would appear on their pages.

So we've developed this moderator program, to enable real people to see and check the prayer requests as they come in, before they appear to everyone. May the Lord bless all of our wonderful moderators who give so selflessly of their time to this good work! In Jesus name!

Requirements to be a moderator:

1. You must really really really love Jesus
2. You must really love people
3. You should have a desire to serve the Lord
4. You need to not mind being interrupted fairly frequently to look at prayer requests
5. You may need Windows 2000, ME, NT, XP or Vista, with Microsoft Framework 2.0 installed

Things that are *not* required to be a moderator:

1. You do not need to be always/frequently at the computer
2. You will not need/be asked to approve every/any prayer requests
3. You will not need/be asked to refresh any kind of page over and over again

We DO NEED MORE moderators at this time. If you are interested in becoming a moderator, visit the Volunteer Signup page and send us a message letting us know you would like to be a moderator. If approved, you will receive a moderator account, and a download link for a small application which will enable you to connect and chat with other moderators, and see prayer requests before they are displayed to the public.

Without our moderators we would be unable to allow customer prayer requests. So we love them and thank them all for selflessly giving their time to do this!! May the Lord bless them for it!!
